In front of the whole EWING family, BARBARA BAXTER claims to be the illegitimate daughter of MISS ELLIE�s late brother and brings evidences along. However, the latter�s closest friend MAVIS denies such information, which might save the ranch as much as lose it forever, since GARRISON was its universal heir...

While the EWINGS and BARBARA fight about the ownership of SOUTHFORK, CLAYTON must go to the sanitarium where his dying sister JESSICA is committed. At the same time ANDREW keeps on pushing DONNA and SUE ELLEN fears that LUCY�s baby is PETER�s and her health might be in danger, since he died of aids...
3/400: �THE E-FILES: 400�
After being called a fraud by CLIFF, who compares her with WES PARMALEE, BARBARA agrees to let BOB see the EWING FILE. Afterwards the 4 brothers get an injunction that menaces their permanence at the ranch. CLAYTON realizes that the MONTFORD fortune might save them...
4/401: �SECRETS AND LIES�
The menace of a seizure of the SOUTHFORK property is over the EWINGS, whose financial situation can�t be worse, due to their various investments and the ranch�s losses. Not even KAY LLOYD�s arrival with a devious proposal from ANDREW or a generous offering from CLIFF are valid solutions...
5/402: �LOVE AFFAIR�
At the very last moment, JESSICA�s death and her will on DUSTY�s behalf eventually save the ranch, although they are afraid of BARBARA�s reaction. But she starts a friendship with RAY that becomes something deeper. Due to their visits to CHRISTOPHER at the HOUSTON school, BOB and PAM end up giving in to their mutual feelings and resume their relationship, excluding sex...by now.
6/403: �CARRIE�
Acknowledged as the SOUTHFORK co-owner, BARBARA settles down there with her daughter CARRIE, a journalist determined to find something dirty in MISS ELLIE�s past. ANDREW�s adultery forces DONNA to leave him forever and return to DALLAS with her daughter. But RAY is gone now...
7/404: �MANDY�S LOVERS�
At the BARNES Barbecue, RAY gives her daughter the wild mare he and DUSTY have tamed and DONNA confesses MAGGIE that her real daddy is RAY, not ANDREW...On the other side SUE ELLEN is reported by her ex-partner OSWALD VALENTINE, about MANDY�s life as a top call-girl. BARBARA lets RAY go, although she was beginning to really care of him...
8/405: �COVER-UP�
MANDY�s scandalous recent past is surfacing, despite of having a powerful protector: CARTER McKAY, the WESTSTAR chairman and former rival of J.R. and CLIFF. CARTER uses the ex-model to �persuade� the judge who must dictate on JEREMY WENDELL�s parole, after being in jail for years due to a number of crimes committed against the EWINGS. SUE ELLEN gets a very revealing tape in L.A....
9/406: �BODY EVIDENCE�
Although the wedding date was officially set, MANDY is seeing the possibility of marrying JAMES vanishing away, due to her link to CARTER. She hopelessly calls DUSTY for help, but SUE ELLEN hears them talking by chance and goes to the appointment in his place, but she finds a corpse instead...
10/407: �UNFAITHFULLY YOURS�
The police has arrested SUE ELLEN as VALENTINE�s would-be killer, after pressing DUSTY to get the truth: he found her by the dead body and is afraid of her being guilty. BARBARA takes care of her defence. Meanwhile, the wedding is still on, and GARY and VAL pay a visit and get a surprise to see a single and pregnant LUCY.
11/408: �DOWN THE AISLE�
On JAMES�s and MANDY�s wedding day, BARBARA gets the bride�s confession at the very last minute: she unwillingly caused VALENTINE�s death in the middle of an argument with him. But SUE ELLEN�s tape makes JAMES call it off and MANDY is put under arrest...The ones who get married instead are RAY and DONNA while LUCY notices that it�s time to give birth to her baby...
12/409: �THE PRINCE OF SOUTHFORK�
The youngest heir to the EWING fortune is named PETER, which arouses suspicion about his paternity, especially on SUE ELLEN. When the KREBBSES settle down back to the ranch with MAGGIE, JOHN ROSS loses his crown of Prince of SOUTHFORK again and gets isolated of everybody, except his late father J.R.
13/410: �STATE OF THINGS�
When MITCH visits LUCY, VAL, who is staying at SOUTHFORK to help her daughter to care the baby, thinks to find a �d�j� vu� in them concerning what happened to her with GARY and the twins...CARRIE and DUSTY are living an unpredictable love story and CLIFF is afraid of not being able to walk again.
14/411: �DANCE, FOOLS, DANCE�
Finally JEREMY WENDELL is out and back at the Oil Barons� Ball to everyone�s shock, which would become panic if they knew what he has in mind to get even of the EWINGS...During the Ball, BOB asks PAM to marry him, by third time...
15/412: �LAW OF DESIRE�
BOB�s proposal puts PAM in a dilemma, still bigger when a French doctor agrees to operate her brother if they go there. Her denial to have sex with him eventually distances her from BOB. Meanwhile, an alienated JOHN ROSS turns to pills again when he is not the center of attention any more...
16/413: �GASLIGHT�
In order to take over the fortune that JOHN ROSS will soon inherit, JAMES is scheming with him to prove that SUE ELLEN is drinking again. At the same time, AFTON desperately turns to CLIFF to get her child PAMMIE back, and is obliged to confess the truth: PAMMIE actually is CLIFF�s daughter...
17/414: �EX-HUSBANDS AND EX-WIVES�
Little PAM is tracked down at last, but AFTON is accused of selling the child to a sterile couple. CLIFF demands a neurofibromatosis and paternity test, before to continue. DON LOCKWOOD�s participation is decisive to frustrate JAMES�s wicked plot...
18/415: �DARK VICTORY�
CLIFF and AFTON must confront Little PAM�s adoptive parents at the court. The judge dictates on behalf of the natural mother, but CLIFF�s joy vanishes when they leave again. DUSTY and CARRIE announce their engagement and ask CLAY to go with them to their ranch in SAN ANGELO...
19/416: �TORRENTS OF WINTER� (II)
Once DUSTY and CLAYTON leave, BOB and RAY are taking care of the ranch all over again, as it could be shattered by the gathering stormy weather. Rejected by everybody, opportunist JAMES is called by JEREMY. SUE ELLEN refuses DON�s appealing proposal to live together again, while CLIFF and PAM prepare their trip to FRANCE, which greatly upsets BOBBY...
20/417: PART 2
A strong tempest finally strikes SOUTHFORK. At the last minute AFTON returns and accompanies CLIFF instead of PAM, who decides to say yes to BOB, after picking CHRISTOPHER up at HOUSTON. DONNA advices SUE ELLEN to make a choice about JOHN ROSS�s problem...Right before to be taken into the o.r., CLIFF gets AFTON�s promise to stay with him...
PAM and CHRIS are stranded in mid of a lonely and rainy road, on their way to DALLAS. JEREMY�s revenge plot lets JAMES speechless: he has planted mines into the ground surroundings of the now isolated house, with DONNA, SUE ELLEN, JOHN ROSS and the girls inside...as an impotent JAMES watches from the entryway, afraid of walking in...
