Personality: Van is often very quick to make a descision. He'd rather go with his gut instinct, then anything else. He does have a real problem with authority, at times...
History: He is the main character of both CC and GF. So, as you can imagine, he's in every single episode. He is the one that ends up defeating the Deathsaurer in CC, and the Dark Kaiser, in GF. He has a sworn enemy; Raven. The two became rivals when they first met. Although Van can seem like a pushover, at times, he really is a very good Zoid pilot, that hasn't lost many battles.
