Finally, we managed to borrow a camera and somebody to hold it - here is the result. Rather than stop and pose for the camera, we tried to work spontaneously but slowly to give a true impression of the type of strikes, holds and takedowns which are possible. |

| These photos show some of the responses we had to an unpredictable encounter. One of the main elements of this type of exercise is to try to keep your form or good posture whilst breaking that of your training partner. It is possible to break a person's form in many different ways. Moving two or three different points of the body in opposite directions, immobilising parts of the body or interrupting natural movement of the joints, feet or even the head can be effective ways to break the form. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
