

The Office of City Secretary serves as liaison, stays at the forefront of legislative and administrative processes in local government, guarantees legality and accuracy of official city documents and provides for their proceedings. The City Secretary attends all City Commission meetings, keeps accurate minutes, and serves as Registrar of Vital Statistics, Records Management Coordinator and Elections Administrator for the city.
Tasks assigned to this office include:
Preparation of City Commission Agenda Packets,
Records and transcribes City Commission Minutes,
Custodian of all city minutes, ordinances, resolutions, proclamations, and
permanent records,
Conducts city elections,
Handles all calls for Mayor and City Commission,
Arranges all travel for Mayor and City Commission,
Oversees the Vital Statistics Bureau,
Registrar of all paving liens,
