yay! one of my readers got back to me! she got through most of her stack and just has five more to go: yay! and i sent some off to another reader as well: double yay!

i'm trying to keep a soft deadline i made to have all first round reading done by the end of next week and i think we  might actually make it. then comes the hard part: round two reading. as one of my readers has pointed out to me (and as i've noticed myself), there are a LOT of really good submissions this year and its gonna be a battle to pare them down to less than twenty.

and the crazy idea i had last week of doing three weeks instead of the usual two? the numbers (that'd be the money numbers) seem to almost work. almost. i'm still not completely sold on the idea, but i better be soon as i'm wanting to have festival staff and directors info up by the end of next week as well, and people ought to know exactly when the festival is, right?

so, a week from today, i ought to know all, right?
