nothing like getting 20 e-mails full of submissions on a monday, especially after having read maybe about 20 submissions over the weekend. not that i'm really complaining as i'm enjoying reading most of the work (each year's submissions have been succesively better). but after going through today's e-mails, i'm pretty certain i'll have nearly 300 submissions, which really *is* a record amount of submissions (which would be 100 more submissions than last year and 200 more than the first year! yikes!).

oddly enough, a good number of submissions have an oddly Christain theme. wonder if i'm the lucky recipient of another festival/showcase's call for submissions ... hmmm ...
