another twenty e-mails in the inbox, another day to be fretting that i'll never be done reading in time.

completely out of sorts today. something both rather wonderful and rather horrible has happened (of a sorts) to a friend of mine and i'd somehow like to do something (anything, really) which might make things better but i have no idea what to do. maybe i'm not supposed to do anything. i don't know. this doesn't have anything to do with the festival at all whatsoever, but it is what's been occupying my thoughts for the past two weeks or so and if i just don't write it down somewhere i'll go madder than i already am.

one of my reader made the slightly absurd (and slightly horrifying!) assumption that the ten or so one acts i gave to her were the final round picks. i've (sadly enough) got maybe 120 more that i could give her. i've e-mailed her as much and am wondering how she'll react to that news ... hopefully she'll keep on reading!
