i began accepting submissions for the 3rd Annual Impact Theater Winter One Act Festival last week Friday. so far i've gotten about thirty submissions, which seems pretty much on par with last years submissions. so far, i've gotten two that have pretty much blatantly ignored the submission criteria (one didn't put Impact One Act Submission in their header, but i'll assume that's what the submission is for. another sent me a one act which i rejected last year).  unfortunately, that's pretty much on par with last year's submissions as well. 

for no good reason at all, feeling nervous. probably the thought of having to top the 2007 one acts, which were (in my opinion) some pretty top-notch productions. who knows what the one acts will be like this year? or the directors? or if i'll find actors? lordy, where am i going to get the money for this?!?!? somehow it all worked out last year (more or less), and it worked out in 2006, but there's always the thought that this could be the year things really blow up in my face. then again, they say the third time's the charm ... or is that three strikes and your out ...?
