Should Friday be a holiday?
"O ye who believe! When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday (the Day of Assembly), hasten earnestly to the Remembrance of Allah, and leave off business (and traffic): That is best for you if ye but knew! "(62:9)
In the above verse it orders us to go for Friday prayers,leaving behind our traffic & work.If we have a holiday,we cant leave our work as we dont do traffic on holidays.
However,if it is a holiday,we loose a chance to follow the Quraan.
