SUCCESSES AND CHALLENGES

In the computer Lab students performed extremly well after have explained briefly what should be done as a group, within a time frame.Excellent work was done by the students but three computers want off and student could not complet their exercise Our challenges for the future will be the up-grading of the computer lab and the introduction of computer technology into the various subjects. The student are ready to learn with this new technology been introduced to them. .

CLASSROOM ORGANIZATION AND LOGISTICS

In the computer lab there are 12 computers,4 connected to the internet and 8 not connected.Students were divided into 5 groups and each group has two sub groups; in all their are ten groups.Ever group has a leader that control's the computer(desk top) and the keyboard. The computer were set up perfectly. Some groups manage to complet there work whiles others didnot complet the work. The first five groups contain 6 students each and the second five group[s contain 5 students each 2groups in the first five groups occupied the first two internet connected computer and 2groups in the second five groups occupied the other two internet conneted computers. Some students have computer and internet ideas they were the one helping the other that are in the groups.

SUGGESTED CHANGES

If the lesson is to be done again, then there should be some in improvment in the computer lab.Availability of technological material and equipments. If there is enough internet facilities;students will be taught how to use the internet properly and the search engine. To my fellow teacher's who wants to teach this lesson ,they will be imform to use the chats, handout and to use search engine to gather facts/materials needed for the students.

FEEDBACK

Students were happy for the field trip to ABOUKO RANCH.There performs in the field was extremly good and perfect and some students request for another trip to be conducted. The people we met in ABOUKO received us with open hands and good faith. They assist us and admired the performs of the students new skills apply in the field ,which was taught in the class. Some teachers, the principle and head of department where happy over the report they recieved from the community leader.

ASSESSMENT

Classwork, assignment, practical work and test was used in evaluating the students ability.YES.After my assessment 52% of the student that participated in the exercises were successful. In my school it not too effective for learners because the technology available is not enough for the students;and the computer lab must be up-graded.Limited computer in the lab;the students are ready to learn, they even rush into the computer lab to get access to a computer in the LAB.
