A WORD FROM WILLIE
“Glory to God in the Highest!”
| I am
so excited to be the pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church! Immanuel is
one of the most loving churches in all of South Carolina. That is
right...you heard what I said. Immanuel is one of the most loving
churches in all of South Carolina. I feel like one of the most
blessed Pastors in God’s Kingdom! Now before you start thinking that
this pastor is a little bit crazy, I want to set the record straight...I
AM CRAZY! I am crazy about three things. I am crazy about my
God and King; the Lord Jesus Christ! I am crazy about my wife and
children! And I am crazy about the people of Immanuel Baptist
Church! I thank God every day for sending me to Florence, South
Carolina. And to that I say, “Glory to God in the
Highest!”
If you did not come to the 93rd Anniversary of Immanuel on the 14th, you missed a blessing! It was a wonderful day filled with fun, food, and fellowship. We began the day with inspiring Bible study and a wonderful worship service. We had over 260 in attendance that beautiful Sunday morning! After the service, we strolled over to the fellowship hall for a feast fit for the King of Kings. He must have blessed the meal because we had enough food for over 500 people. WOW! And to that I say, “Glory to God in the Highest!” I want to say a special thank you to all of you who cooked all of that fabulous food. Thanks to all of you who sang in the worship service and during the fellowship time. Thanks to all of you who sent out the mailings, and those who set up the fellowship hall so beautifully. What a wonderful God, what a wonderful fellowship, and what a wonderful place to serve our Lord. And to that I say, “Glory to God in the Highest!” Love in Christ,
