...we left off with a narly bear and no pic :-(...last friday, 3/8/02, 4:30pm cnt, Copper Harbor, MI., during a snow blizzard, God blessed the moment for any one with any kind of CAM. My sis and I took a 30 mile drive to the top of Keweenaw County. The point hits Lake Superior, in Copper Harbor. Oh, by the way, Im from Allouez, Mi- chigan. 20 miles north of Houghton, Mi. As we were drivin slow due to no road; by the way, where is the road? 3foot down. OOOOOh! OK. I was making sure my CAM wasnt going to fail me and out of nowheres my Sister is yelling DEER! By the time I looked up their were no deer. So we drove up to where they entered the woods. No sign of em (2 females and 1 fawn). I told Sis to stay in the car in case of bear or other narly toothed anamalz were around.I followed the tracks for about 12 feet and looked up, day turned into night. It was real spooky knowing their are exotique wild petz roaming in the wild.I walked another 5 feet and looked again, their they were. 35 + females and fawns sum bigger than I, 250lbs each, at least. We looked each other up and down for awhile. Dears kick real good. so I decided well theyer not leaving so I guess il take some pics. 1 female even came within 8 feet of me (((BIG))).When the pics get back ill show ya them. Wat an experiance. Till next time, g' BYE! Thkz for sittin and ckeckin it out for a spell. 'IM' me if u need anything. @};- RWC@IMLAY, MI. 1952 to1981-2001 to 2002 Allouez, Mi. |
