| I Know only what I want to Know by Renae Cane |
| From the time we are born, people around us begin trying to teach us things that they think are important. Some of it we like -- "Here try this. It's called ice cream". Some of it we don't really like, but it's presented as fact -- "You have to work hard to get anywhere." As children, we are the focus of many adults who consider it their responsibility to teach us their truth. Okay, you're reading this, so obviously now you're no longer a child. But many things are still affecting you that you don't really want to believe in or live over and over. Once we learned how our thoughts attract our experiences, and that our experiences reinforce our thoughts until they become beliefs, and then our beliefs continue to expand and attract further experiences that shape our thoughts about ourselves and our world and the Infinite, we began to look at these thoughts and the beliefs that create them. We found that there are some we like and want to continue to think and believe. "I'm smart." "I am good at many things." "I love my children, my parents, my friends, my life." There were also many things that we didn't want to believe any more, like "Money is limited and hard to get" and "I can't do anything right". For a while now, we have been using Faster EFT and Abraham-Hicks' Emotional Scale to find better-feeling thoughts and to take the sting out of those emotional responses to memories that haunted us. And they've worked amazingly well. Now we can experience things that we used to think of as unwanted, and realize what we were thinking and feeling that attracted them, and immediately turn to what we really do want. Abraham says "There is nothing more important than that you feel good" and now we understand that this idea is the cornerstone that you use to rebuild your perspective of your world. Who would want to think "I'm not good enough" instead of "I can do anything I want to do"? Not me, and I'm sure if you neutralize the fear of that first phrase, you will be able to choose to believe the second one and expect proof of it to show itself in your experience. How about some more? "I have everything I need and I know everything I need to know to get what I want and to live what I want to live." "Everything I have lived so far has been beneficial to me, and I have expanded from it all. I am happy with my life now and look forward to where I'm going." "This life is so exciting, and I am thrilled that I will never get it done and that I can enjoy my journey every step of the way." "I love that I can always find a better-feeling thought, even for the good ones, and that Life is unlimited and the good things are never-ending." "Money is just another part of my well-being, and that well-being is so natural to me that any deviation from that is temporary and allows me to experience an even greater well-being than before." "My body is my friend, and it reflects whatever I need to know about what I'm thinking and vibrating. My body gets stronger and more vibrant and more flexible the longer I use it." |
