This moment isn't even a moment, it is an incident of awareness. Being aware of this moment makes it a thing of wonder. Do you know how many automatic processes your body goes through each minute of each day? Millions. All without your direction. How much you are enjoying yourself or being conscious of your life is your choice. Choosing Life Now gives us the preciousness of this gift of exploration that we have as long as we breathe.
Is time the measure of a full life? Is it a waste if a baby dies after living for only a few days? What if we value life for just being here at all? We have only Now, and the only way I can continue pettiness or misery is when I think that I have a future, that there will be a continuous thread to my life and I have time to make up for it in a time that is not Now.
Let's Do It Now. Now, I let go of that imaginary future for myself. Now I let go of it for others: my children, my parents, my brothers, my friends, my enemies, my pain, my stuff. There is no lifetime. I am always complete, so I can't complete myself by action, word or enlightenment. What freedom it is to do all my Loving Now, my Letting Go Now, my Expansion Now, my Alignment Now. |
