"Kaylei!" John, her brother called him from the bottom of the stairs later that night, "phone!"

"Alright! Got it." she answered, picking up the phone in her room. She layed back against the headboard on her bed as she figured out it was Brianna who had called. "Whats up?"

"I got in a fight with Patty today." Brianna informed Kaylei, snickering.

Kaylei sat up in her bed and laughed. "Are you serious?! Haha, what for?"

"I called her a slut."

"Why?"

"She was hanging all over Brandon today right in front of me, and she knows damn well that he's mine! She has her own boyfriend, why doesn't she hang all over him?"

"Don't know, couldn't tell ya. But did you see how she just walked past Joel today without saying a word to him?"

"I saw. She was too busy gettin' all up on Brandon."

"I know, I saw that. But did you see Joel when she walked by all over some other guy without saying a word to him?"

"No." Brianna said curiously.

"I did. He looked so hurt. I think he really likes her, and all she's gonna do humiliate him eventually."

"I know." Brianna shook her head, even though no one could see her. "We need to warn him or something. I need to get rid of Brandon too. He told me today that he doesn't want to see me talking to guys again, or 'I'll be sorry'. Whatever. I dont know what's gotten into him. Dude! I feel like we're on a soap opera or something!"

Kaylei laughed. "Oh yes, Anna. Teenage high school drama. Perfect for a soap!"\

"Haha, shut up."

"Ooh, guess what?"

"Chicken butt?" Brianna guessed.

"Stupid! I got Benji's phone number today. I think I like him. He's so nice, and funny and cute! You and Joel should hook up."

"HA! Or not! It'll just add to our teenage soap opera!"

"How so?" Kaylei questioned.

"Have you forgotten about significant others? Ya know, Patty and Brandon."

"If I know Patty at all, which unfortunately I do, she's not going to stick with Joel much longer. You know he's just a just a joke to her. Any guy is. And if you and Brandon keep going down the road you went down today, you won't put up with him much longer either."

"Okay Miss Cleo, maybe you're right. But who knows. Don't get your hopes up."

"I'll be sure not to."

"Alright Lei, I hate to cut this little psychic session short, but I gotta urinate."

"Ahh!" Kaylei screamed, "too much info!"

Brianna laughed. "I'm hanging up now."

"Aalright. See ya tomorrow."

"Okay, later."
