It had been about three days since Kaylei and Brianna had been to the mall, and the whole naem thing had been pretty much forgotten. It was Friday night, and both girls on were a fifteen to twenty minute break at work, so they decided to head up to the food court upstairs at the mall. Finding that, because Christmas was a little more than a month away and the mall was beginning to get busy with people who wanted to get their shopping done early, the lines at all the restaurants were too long to stand in.

"What do ya wanna do now?" Kaylei asked.

"Nothing. Go back downstairs to work and sit in the break room. We're in our uniforms. We reek of popcorn." Brianna answered.

"Wanna go downstairs to that one store and see if those guys are working?" Kaylei contemplated.

Brianna turned to Kaylei with a questioning look on her face. "We're in our popcorns. We reek of popcorn." Brianna repeated herself, hoping Kaylei would understand that she didn't want to go anywhere looking and smelling the way she did.

"I just want to see if they're working. Please?"

"You can go look like a fool in your uniform and smell gross while talking to hot guys by yourself. I'm not going down there like this."

"Oh geez, come on. We have fifteen minuets left," Kaylei said, looking at her watch, "stop being so stubborn!" she pulled Brianna by her shirt sleeve down the escalator.

They entered the store and saw one of the twins standing by the shoes. "Hey." Kaylei walked over and greeted him. He gave Brianna a dirty look and she shot one back.

He looked at Kaylei and smiled. "What's up?"

Kaylei smiled back at him. "Nothin' much. I hate to sound rude, but which twin are you?"

He glanced over at Brianna skeptically. "Benji." he told her.

"Thought so." Kaylei gave Brianna a 'don't-you-say-anything' look and turned attention back to Benji. Brianna turned away to avoid bursting into laughter. "Anyway, Anna and I were just on a break at work, but we gotta get back now. We just thought we'd stop by and say hi."

"You just thought we'd stop by." Brianna said from behind a clothes rack.

"You work at the movie theater? Can you get me discounts on tickets?" Benji asked.

"I can get you free tickets."

"No you cant.He has to be family or friends." Brianna was heard from somewhere in the store.

"How do you put up with her?" Benji asked Kaylei.

"We've been friends since, like, sixth grade or something. You get used to her."

"I'm sure you do. Anyway, what was your name?" Benji asked, oblivious to the fact that she had a nametag on.

"Hey dickweed, its on the shirt." Brianna said before Kaylei had a chance to answer. She walked over to the two of them. "Alright Kaylei," she began, putting emphasis on her name, "we have to get back to work now. It was nice chattin with ya," Brianna said with an attitude, glaring at Benji.

Benji disregarded Brianna's last comment, "Okay Kaylei ..."

"Actually, I just go by Lei." she informed Benji.

He smiled. "See ya again then? Maybe without her next time?"

"I'll try." Kaylei laughed a little.

"'Maybe without her next time?'" Brianna mocked Benji and tugged on Kaylei's shirt sleeve. "We're gonna be late." She headed towards the entrance. Kaylei followed, waving goodbye to Benji.

"Anna, honestly. Do you have to be such a biotch?" Kaylei asked, as the two headed back to the theater.

"I was just messin' with the dude the other day, but now he's all butt hurt and throwing a fit and glaring at me and shit. I dont need to put up with him." Brianna grew angrier the more she thought of the way Benji was acting towards her.

"Well, maybe you should try being nice for a change." Kaylei suggested.

"Maybe that'll someday happen, child. Just maybe." They entered the theater and got back to work, Brianna thinking about what Kaylei had said.
