Stanwyk, Alan

Marrying into Boyd Aviation, he commited bigamy, as he was already married to his high school sweetheart, whom you could only love for five, ten minutes - tops. Frank Walker (not Jaffe)

Frank is Fletch's editor and boss.
Usually easily wound up by Fletch, Frank is tolerant of his behaviour up to a point; Frank does have respect for Fletch's work, however he absolutely hates it when Fletch tries for a raise or charges items to the paper's expense account.

Fat Sam

Fat Sam was busted by Chief Karlin on his third offence - when the chief gave him the choice of pushing drugs for him on the beach, or do a spell of hardtime. Fat Sam gets nothing out of the deal but free junk. Fat Sam never leaves the beach.

Becky Ann Culpepper

Daughter of the Rev. Jimmy Lee Farnsworth, Miss Culpepper works for the realty (estate agents for those non US citizens), which tries to purchase Belle Isle from Fletch. Fletch tries to find out who wishes to buy the place, but Becky Ann can't let on who her client is. Naturally she is the film's romantic interest.

Jimmy Lee Farnsworth

The Reverend Jimmy Lee is the owner of the Bibleland Amusement Park. Also the star of his own tv evangelist show, he has plans to expand his amusement park, which is buying up land. Fletch suspects the rev. might be behind the mysterious bid for his 'Belle Isle'.
