learning, listening, and building skills
because they combine fun with learning.
The important thing is to keep children
from becoming embarrassed, humiliated,
or made to sit out because they are a
"loser".
How: Play the game of "Simon Says" with as
many variations as you can.
From our neighborhood, we have a great view of Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor. We sit and play,
"Simon Says to find..." On this day, Simon said to
point out a blue house, a port-o-potty, a red car, an
American flag, a FedEx truck, and a sprinkler that
was turned on. It turned into a kind of scavenger
hunt, and the kids had a lot of fun with it. And they
were all WINNERS!
