Novel Input
What:     "Novel Input"

Why:      Novel input is what makes the brain
reorganize and reallocate nerve cells to
other areas, and stimulates better neural
connections.  The idea is to have the
brain reassign cells so it will be better at
a task the next time it is attempted.
              Purposeful multi-sensory stimulation is
              one way to achieve this.

How:     There are many ways to accomplish
             "purposeful multi-sensory stimulation,"
but one way is to have students trace
              strange or foreign objects.

We really enjoy playing with sidewalk chalk.  We
have been known to lay down in the driveway and
trace our whole bodies!
