Retired Professor Lacayanga is a graduate of Bachelor of
Science in Education at Philippine Normal
College, now Philippine Normal University. Born December 19, 1917, she
started teaching after the second World War. She was a retired professor of
Tarlac College of Technology, now Tarlac State University.
Professor Lacayanga was married to Ambrosio Lacayanga of Paniqui, Tarlac and
has two daughters, Imelda Lacayanga,
a medical practitioner, and Alor Alikpala,
a registered nurse. As a retiree, she travels back and forth between
