Odd Facts



Now what can be better on an odd website, created by an odd person then odd facts. These are some things that i suppose would be considered useless odd facts. But they are no less interesting anyways. I think? Besides, remember, one rule in Kbear's land, learn something new everyday, and expand your mind.


* Despite there very long necks, giraffes make no sounds, they are mute. * Hippos have red sweat. * Humans have red blood, insects have yellow blood and lobsters have blue blood. * King Henry the VIII had an african grey parret. * As many as 100 pearls have been found in a single oyster. * A chickens left leg is supposibly more tender then its right leg. * Giving liquor to a fish is illegal in Oklahoma. (So is it legal if the fish buys its own???) * When a duck dives underwater, its heart rate slows by about half percent. * The shark is the only fish that can blink both eyes. (So like what all the others just kind of wink at you????) * A cat is more inclined to watch tv then a dog. * Noise dulls the sence of smell. * The flying fox is really a bat. * Motto on first U.S. coin, minted in 1787, was "Mind your own Buisness". (now i like that idea) * Feathers of a pigeon weigh more then its bones. (that i wouldnt have of guessed) * Kansas law forbids the eating of rattlesnakes in public. (well if it was up to me i would forbid the eating of rattlesnakes everywhere. MMMMmmm yummy :-P) * Flies and frogs can get athlete's foot. ( i wonder ifwe can get a small can of gold bond for them??) * Even after being dead for several days, a jelly fish can still sting. * Some elephants pull their own teeth. (why is it cause they cant fit into a dentist office??) * A duck has 3 eyelids on each eye. (like they say, third one is always a charm. I gues the other two just werent good enough.) * Queen bees only sting other queen bees. (well remind me not to dress up as a queen bee for Halloween.) * A rat can go longer without water then a camel. * A cabbage can get a hernia. (Ok now if that isn't odd i dont know what is.) *
