Hello I am k. bear, as you read on my main page, I also use kbear as my logo for my cards, and at the end of my videos. I was born in Rochester, New York . I suppose technically i have lived here my whole life, but i like to think that i have LIVED all over this country. I LIVED when i went to Maine every year and walked on the bar at low tide and when I went deepsea fishing or whale watching. I LiVED in Boston when i went to the science museum and the aquarium. I LIVED when i went to California and saw the Giant Redwood Trees and when i went to the San Deigo Wild animal park, and so on. It's all about how you interpret the word lived. Does it just mean where you physically grew up, or where you grew up emotionally, spiratually or mentally.
I have a very large family with 2 brother, 2 sisters all married and a couple neices and nephews. I also have grown up with several furry family members. A couple of dogs and birds and other furry critters.
I love animals, for my next life i want to be a bird or a fish, and fly to the highest point and discover whats over the rainbow. Or swim to the deepest depth of the ocean, where no man has gone before. Alot of my work as you can see is based on animals and nature. I currently even sell things with critters on them and trying to raise money to help save them. |

As you can see I was an art major at SUNY College at Brockport, I transfered there from Monroe Community College. People usually complain about the schools they go to but i suppose they where ok. I learned what i needed, and went on from there and that's all the matters. My main focus was on film and video, I love animation and computerized special effects and wish that some day I could be even better then what Disney has done in the past few decades. The reason why i love it so much is because it isn't real life so you can use your imagination to help create the impossible. However with advances today it is hard to tell what IS real, and i think that is great, it works with what you BElIEVE is real. And isn't it fun trying to figure out what is real and what isn't and how they did that either way. It makes your brain work and you mind wonder and wander.
I also love the whole idea of the movie indusrty in that it takes you to another world, you leave your real everday world and escape into the world of imagination where you either become the character or at least feel with the character. You enter the magic of cinama and be whoever you want to be, even if it is for just 2 hours or even 30 minutes. I dont know what we would be like today without having the chance to escape our real world and live the life in some characters shoes. Truely not the great people we are today, for we have gotten the chance to see the world through someone elses eyes, pain, happiness, and so on. |

Lets see, what else can i tell you about me without boring you. That is unless i haven't bored you already. But i suppose that if i did bore you, you wouldn't be reading this, now would you? . I have interests in many things, too many thing for my own good i suppose. . I also write poems, fantacy stories and horror. I have a garden and i know a bit about plants, i took up some botany courses. I love the idea of grafting one kind of shrub onto another and cross pollenating flowers. Science is great. In my free time i venture out into nature and bike on trails through the woods, or jet ski and swim, and all kinds of stuff, anything that takes place outdoors and gets you moving, or thinking and interacting with the world around me. I can be stubborn and persistant, but that is what allows me to get things done. I can be crazy and humorous, but that is what makes people smile. I can be daring and adventurous, but that is what makes me do what has never been done before. I can be a dreamer and believe in the imposible, but that is what allows me to create things that are unique. I can be sweet, cute, caring and I can believe in magic, but that is what makes me, me. |
