ALL ABOUT ME! ME! ME!
My name is Steve.  I am an old bastard (my partner agrees with me on this but I had to pay her).  My partner is not old ... she's typing this!  My partner's extremely good looking and a nice person and deserves all the flowers and chocolates I'm going to bestow on her for being so totally gorg- ... no, Steve, get off the keyboard, I said I'd type for you!

So anyway, my name is Steve and I'm learnin to type, so if i make sum really bad tiping errers pleze fergiv me ... ok deb cum back all if fergiven.

Right, lets try again ... my name is Steve and I'm a tall Yorkshireman, some would say handsome but only if I paid them.  But bloody hell look at picture, I ain't that bad (typing verbatim as The Handsome One speaks!).

I'm production manager in just one part of a large group of steel stockholders, actually the largest one in England, and I'm bloody good at it.  I work right 'ard, all day sometimes (laughs hysterically, partner just looks at him wearily), and my hobbies are sleeping (practically narcaleptic), biking, bonking, burping, breathing and beer.

I'm 54, have four children and one grandaughter  and two ex-wives (not a good track record then!)  Finally managed to persuade my partner that I wasn't a complete liability about three years ago and moved from (the 'picturesque village' of) Bradford to (the much better) Birmingham.  I like it here because people look at me odd whenever I speak, which is a lot because I like speaking and I like people looking at me.  And if you looked like me (see
pic) you'd like people looking at you too.

Right, that's enough about me, lets get on with blog (partner: isn't the blog all about you?).  And ... (waits) ... (and waits) ... I left school (oh don't!) and started working (typist pinching herself to stay awake) .... zzzzzz

So anyway, this is a blog about all sorts of stuff, bike's pubs, rants, work, you name it its in here.

If you want to know anything else about me [and partner definitely has a few questions!], just
ask.
