Dear Stephanie,
Our next IMA
professional development seminar to be held
on March 19 at Mario's Italian Steakhouse will
hopefully add value to the membership. The program
is an all-day seminar, with two half-day blocks
focused on A/R and A/P trends and best
practices. This is an area of professional
development that we feel the IMA needs to target
again, as cash flow optimization becomes more
critical than ever for
companies. KeyBank is our featured
presenter and Cochran Cochran and Yale is our
vendor of the month. February's
International Accounting program was a tremendous
success, and we are looking to keep that momentum
going! I would encourage members to
spread the word about this and upcoming
events. A key benefit offered by
the IMA comes from the interaction at the local
chapter level, so let's get out there and meet
each other face to face. Everyone may be
networking through online user
groups, linkedIn, etc., but in a business
relationship, nothing replaces a handshake
and eye contact. Hope to see you
there. Best regards,
David Alkins Chapter
President
