Log for 20th September 2006

Currently working feverishly to complete the final touches! Remaining to be done:

* Paint decks

* Fit winches x 2

* Connect and test VHF

* Fit fender socks

* Fit and test cooker

Should be up and running within the next week or so!

As usual our best laid plans were sabotaged by the beautiful weather and abundant wildlife! It is just too relaxing at times -
keep having to drive ourselves to finish off a particular bit of work.

This is a test line to see if the word wrap function is working. I will keep typing until my fingers bleed - it can only be a matter of time! In the meantime, I really need to consider updating this site as it is a bit old hat now. Kite is the present and I really should include the video I wanted to put on.

Log for 30th September 2006

Planning a short trip down the coast to Southwold:

* Paint decks - Done!

* Fit winches x 2 - Done!

* Connect and test VHF - Done!

* Fit fender socks - Done

* Fit and test cooker - Mmm! Still can't decide on whether to fit it or not!

Left Great Yarmouth with a reasonable 15kt SE breeze.
3 miles later it was 20kts gusting 25! Sea was getting very "lumpy" and Liz was getting very grumpy!
Totally out of character I must add - Liz is usually the hardiest of souls in a bit of a blow. Half an hour later and we were
just off Lowestoft. We decided to divert in there as conditions were not improving at all. Tied up at Lowestoft
marina and had a stiff drink! Quite a few people came up to

(a) admire Zoetje and
(b) See the strange folk who were out in those conditions!
