Existe un
gusano de carne exquisita en la sabana africana que vive a más de un metro por
debajo del suelo. Solamente la hormona que contiene el sudor del avestruz hace
que este gusano abandone las profundidades y se acerque a unos diez centímetros
de la superficie. Es el único momento en el que el avestruz puede hundir su
cabeza en el suelo y saborear tal sabroso manjar. Es una lástima que los
avestruces sólo suden cuando sus vidas se encuentran en grave peligro.

worm with delicious meat that lives three feet underground. Only a hormone
found in the ostrich sweat makes this worm come up from its deep surroundings
to four inches below the surface. This is the only time the ostrich can dig its
head into the ground and enjoy such an exquisite delicacy. It is a shame that
ostriches only sweat when their lives are in grave danger.
