A few ideas: You can use the textures to fill text and objects. They can be used on web pages as backgrounds or as borders, they make nice stereogram patterns, they look particularly nice on CD labels, or use them anywhere else that fills can be used.

Instructions for adding a folder of bitmaps to the fill gallery in Xara2 or XaraX (from the Xara help files):
  1. Copy the bitmaps you want to add to the gallery to a folder.
  2. From the Utilities menu, choose Fill Gallery.
  3. Click the Disk Fills button to open the Add Folder dialog box.
  4. Browse to the folder containing the bitmaps.
  5. Click the Add button.
Xara creates thumbnails for each of the bitmaps and places them in a folder called XaraInfo.
