Please tell us why you write.
Many people ask me that. I have to say the biggest reason I write is because I have something to say. I like creating very specific images in people's minds. If you give ten people a picture, ten people see ten different things, usually more of a reflection of who they are than who the photographer or painter is. If you give ten people a paragraph, ten people would see what the author intended for them to see; no less, no more.
Currently I have one novel on my editor's desk, and two more on the way. I have the interest of several small publishing houses on my first novel, and will probably sign a deal sometime later this spring. Be on the lookout for excerpts of my newest works on my (sorry excuse for a) website.

Please tell us why you write.
Primarily writing is my stress release. ~L~ I read books and think 'I would have done it differently'. I watch television shows and say, 'Yanno, this would have gone differently if...' So, out comes the writing. I can live in my own little universe there.
It's fascinating to see an idea that pops into my head at the drive through window of a fast food restaurant, come into full realization with background, depth, movement and a definite sense of completion. I know this sounds corny, but it's great to know that I can think of something and then see it through to the ending. Even if sometimes it's a not so happy ending.
Just a side note, my website isn't finished yet. But, I'm working on it every day!

Please tell us why you write.
I write because I like to make up characters and kind of control them in a way that no one else can. Because, like Jules Fiefer says, "Not even the President of the United States can control what happens." But a writer can!

I like to exercise my imagination.
I began writing on a website called "Shecky's Illusion Archive." It had a section for illusion stories. The stories were usually fetish, and each story was almost the same as the next. I decided that it was time for something different, so I wrote a non-fetish story about a science fiction adventurer. I later started my own website to publish my stories.

Please tell us why you write.
I write because I'm bad at math. I can't hold up in math, so I thought, "Hmmm, English is the complete opposite of math!" I write because I figured out I was good at it when I started Paper Tiger (my site). Some of my friends (who are girls) think that I write to pick up chicks, but that's not really true. Hehe.
