Mississippi Gulf Coast Jackson
The Mississippi Gulf Coast is the fastest growing part of the state.  Biloxi and Gulfport have a total of 12 casinos with two more scheduled to open in 2005.  This is becoming one of the premiere destinations in the country.
Jackson is Mississippi's largest city.  The state capitol, shown above, is just one of many things to see in Downtown Jackson. The old capitol has been transfered into a museum of state history.  The home of Eudora Welty is also in Jackson.
Tunica County
Tunica County is the third largest gaming community in the country, coming behind Las Vegas and Atlantic City.  Tunica County is located about 20 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee.
Antibellum Homes
Mississippi has many antibellum homes across the state, mainly along the Mississippi River.  Natchez, once the second richest city in the country, still has more plantations than any city in the United States.
Tishomingo County
Tishomingo County is one of the most beautiful parts of Mississippi.  It is located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.  It is the only place in Mississippi to find rockclimbing and beautiful moutains.
