ringtones

Ringtones are the biggest thing to hit the net since porn and now we have them in abundance. So I had decided to pop some up on my site. It is afterall and entertainment site and I felt that they belonged here. To get some people to realise that I have ringtones I decided to advertise in Ringtone clubs on Yahoo (my telepathy is not what it used to be you see). And as always there had to be one angry person and he gave me a piece of his tiny little two digited IQ mind but like always I hit back.

The problem was that I had advertised on his club. He deleted the post (fair enough) but them started insulting me. The way I figure it is there are ways of doing things and he did not choose the right one. Instead of simply deleting the message and telling me not to do it again and then justifying WHY I had not to do it he decided to lay into me. The following are posts from the club...

Is your site one of them where people request a tone and then you spend hours trying to look for it accross the net, finally steal the tone from another site and post it up on your site? That is sad.

The first part is fine but the second part was just rude

He then deleted my reply as I told him I was putting him up on my angry people page and posted a link to that. But I think that was the one where I posted that I didn't steal them and that my friend was a music graduate and he made them up, I called him a tosser and told him that I wasn't really advertising and if thats what he thought then he was wrong but all I did was try to help people get ringtones they might be looking for.

So your friend is a music graduate. You don't need to be a music graduate to make ringtones you know. I think you just made that up didnt you?
The ringtones I post on this board are made by me. Try and find the ringtones posted on my site somewhere else if you can. If you do, post the site up as they've most probably stolen the ringtones from here. *of course they are*
So you wouldn't say you were advertising your site then?? What would you call, posting here telling all the people that you ahve a ringtone site & that they can request tones from there??? I thought the site must have been put together by a newbie *well duh* web user as this is the kind of crap site that was around about five years ago, graphic heavy and full of boring unfunny text. The site says what it is 'Tiny's Waste of Webspace' *yes I know the title was there for a reason*

Tiny_nic - A) I never said you HAD to be a music graduate to make ringtones I said my friend IS a music graduate and its him that makes my ringtones you should read things a bit more carefully
B) my site is NOT ripping off this one. How is that possible? There is one thing similar - the ringtones - everything else is totally different. There are other sites with ringtones are you saying they to are ripping off this one? Was this the first place to ever have ringtones? NO dont thing so
C) Thats not true and you didnt name the site because you didnt want to give free advertising to the site yet you named two sites at the end of your post and posted a link... clever boy
