FRIENDS AND FAMILY
I would like to thank the following people for making my hard times a little easier. For always being there and showing real heart felt concern.
First of all my wife, Juana, without her I probably wouldn't have even got started with the whole thing. She has been hit hard and "barely" complains. Honey thanks, I love you.

My best friend Guillermo and his family, my nieces, Sonia, Evette, and krystle, who always call and see that I'm doing ok, hey guys, you're the best nieces a tio could want, his wife Noemi, who has helped out a whole bunch, thanks for being there. "Chito",  thanks a lot bro.

My two younger kids, ages five and six, Jun Jun & Jillan, who always make sure I'm using my 02 machine. They run to get me things when I'm not at my best, daddy loves you.

     HOSPITAL

Dr. Maria Padilla,
My pulmonologist. Dr. Padilla, thanks for your time, patience and attention during all these years. I understand that my condition will not go away only with medications and I'm grateful for everything you have done. You are the best and I respect you dearly, thanks for the years to come.
Dr.Charlotte Cunningham,
My immunologist. Hi Dr. Cunningham, you know there are few professionals that regular people like me feel real comfortable with as if we were family. You are one of those people. You have made my life sooooooooo much easier by allowing me to get those things I really need and always being there when something needs to be filled out, and by showing genuine concern for my well being.  Without your research and work Dr. Cunningham, this guy wouldn't be doing too good today. Thanks for keeping me among the living.
On the same note, the girls at the infussion room. Some girls have come or have been changed, but the care still stays the same, thanks to
Sarah Martin and Monica Wang
People, these two persons are so dedicated to their work, and they do it so well, that the trip to their infussion room is the highlite of my month. Believe it or not, I look forward to going in every three weeks. Everyone that comes in for treatment is treated on the same familiar terms as the next guy and all are made to feel at home. If it weren't for the IV, you couldn't tell you were at the Hospital. To the latest addition to the group, Grace, wow! You'll be around for a long time, we're not letting you go girl. Keep it up.
Sarah and Monica, you guys are so much loved! Thanks.

Mr. Jose Nieves, what can I say about you? I want to thank you also, because although you supply my medical equipment, you have always taken the time to share with us and even spend time with me. Jose, you don't know how much of what you've said has stuck with me man. Thanks for being a friend.

Mount Sinai Support Group
Our support group meets every month at the hospital. You will always find information on my web page. Please come and join us, as this support group needs a lot of patient cooperation to make it work. We have guest speakers, invited guests at most meetings and they are really helpful. Refreshments are always served and a friendly smile is never far away. The group is led by
Mrs. Barbara Freeman
who is also a Sarcoidosis patient, on a wheel chair with little strengh left, and yet she always makes it in. Come and share with us and you too will be hooked.

Miss.Saadaqua shaqur
Thank you too hon, sometimes you get over looked, but not this time. You are a great part of this team also and you do a lot for us. Saadaqua helps Barbara do her things and coordinate the support group and many other things.
Dr. Alvin Teirstein,
T
his doctor has done a great deal of research on sarcoidosis and lung disease. He is probably the foremost specialist on Sarcoidosis in the world. He has been at the Hospital for a long time. Dr. Teirstein has gone to every meeting and only been out during an emergency. He is well liked and very respected by all. He always gets his message across with a bit of humor and a lot of knowledge. Hat's off to you Dr. Teirstein, thanks.
