| Stop-motion animation is the process of taking pictures and running them together so that they appear to move. Twenty-four pictures make up a second of animation, altough more or less can be used. This process is extremely tedious as each movement of the object of study has to be measured exactly inorder to create a flowing feel. Often, pictures will be repeated twice in the sequence.
