Fredrick Bean "Tex" Avery attended the Chicago Art Institute. He worked for Walter Lantz Stuidios, Warner Brothers (1935), MGM (1941), and Hanna Barberra. He is repsonsible for Egghead (later Elmer Fudd), Droopy, Screwy Squirrel, Spike, George and Junior, Huckelberry Hound, The Wolf, Red, and Chilly Willy. He helped develop Daffy Duck,  Porky Pig and Bugs Bunny. Fact: Avery lost an eye when a joke backfired on him.

Ubbe Eert Iwwerks worked at Disney and created Flip the Frog.
August 21, 1905 - May 26, 1995

Friz Isadore Freleng is the co-creator of Porky Pig, Bugs Bunny, Tweety bird, Sylvester, Daffy Duck, and Speedy Gonzalez. He worked at Disney, Warner Brothers, and is the co-founder of DePatie-Freleng Enterprises.
December 6, 1901 - December 15, 1966

Walter Elias Disney began and animation studio with his brother Roy, after a failed attempt with Ub Iwerks. He created Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto. He won 30 Academy Awards, and is credited with the first animated cartoon with sound, "Steamboat Willy."
May 8, 1913 - May 4, 1984

Robert Emmerson Clampett created Beany and Cecil and helped create Porky Pig and Daffy Duck. He created Tweety Bird. He worked at Warner Brothers, Columbia, and MGM. Fact: Clampett rescued three men from a boating accident.
Chuck Jones
September 21, 1912 - February 23, 2002

Jones went to the Chounard Art Institute. He worked ar Leon Schlesinger Studios, Warner Brothers, Disney, and MGM. He co-created Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, and Porky Pig. He created Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, Marvin Martian, Pepe Le Pew, Michigan J. Frog, Gossomer, Marc Anthony and Kitty, Sniffles, Private SNAEU, and Hubre and Bertie.
