~Mild Red~
"She
was out of reach/ Her heart so hard to teach..."
Admiration “Her name
echoes constantly on my head/ Lingering on my thoughts uninterrupted/ A name
derived from the mild hue of red/ An amalgam of strength and the soft-spotted;/
Where red is strength, a color undaunted/ Where mildness, a gentle stroke of the
soft-spotted.”
Ever
seen the sun shine on the sky?
To look at it directly without blinding an eye?
Ever heard the softest voice of a heaven lark?
To feel every sound tremble in your heart?
Ever grasp a hand that feels like cushion?
Stuff with feathers or the softest cotton?
Ever get lost with just one look from someone eyes?
To forget the world uncompromised?
Ever taste the sweetest kiss like a chocolate bar?
Bewitched by that kiss, though it’s a dream so far?
Ever felt the warmth of an emotion like fire?
A burning passion for someone you admire?
Ask me, ask me, and I shall say yes.
To look directly on the sun at high
Would be impossible without hurting an eye
Yet the brightest being belong not to the sky
But to a lady who’s worth a million sighs.
Again, the softest voice belongs not to a lark
But to the same lady who have captured my heart
Every word she speaks, a rule that conquers my all
Every sound she makes, a music that soothes my soul.
I have touched her hands but it was only before
It was so quick that I am whining for more
To hold her for long is what I always want
To squeeze her palms and tell her she’s my only one.
Then came a time she looks my way
A sudden cold froze my frame
She smiled and I just lost all words to say
For these are more than enough to complete my day.
Oh, her pale ruby lips tempting for a kiss
I wonder how soft and passionate it feels
Though, I haven’t taste her sweetest kiss I always dream
But to see her bit her lips is enough to make me grin.
Still, these are but a portion of who she really is
Mere reflections of true beauty, to say the least
Only words of attempt to compare her to a star
All from a simple man adoring her from afar.
