Heaven and Earth
Heaven’s a place for the angels
and the godly,
-a throne where the Maker seats and sees
>
-whereabouts of the righteous and the saintlly
-adjective for a man in glee.
Earth’s a point where creation
begins
-a stretch where the ocean meets the dene
-colony for people who have sinned
-the worldly matters you have seen.
Heaven is emotion that flows
endlessly
Nirvana that conquers the lonely
A character that defines real beauty
As to man’s greatest glory- a lady.
Earth survives the meanest test
of all
Outstands the weight set by man’s sole
A spot where moon shines at fall
Insignia of a strong but doubtful soul.
Heaven and Earth, though vary in
value,
Work like driver, like screw-
Former provide haven for the holy and the few
Whilst the latter, a theater for them to show.
Yet,
Heaven and Earth’s a distance
of infinity
A fantasy afar from reality
A million chance of zero possibility
The widest view of the boundless sea;
Like the two of us...
You, the heaven, untouchable...
I, the earth, insatiable.
