Prepare yourself by laying a white cloth in front of you. Form a firm question as you shake your runebag. Draw one lot (rune) from your runebag and place on the white cloth. Determine its meaning from whether it is right side up or reversed and what it may mean in answer to your question.

It's important to concentrate on your question when runecasting because it will effect the results of your reading the runes.
