![]() The students filed into the classroom and took their seats as Professor Rose handed out their marked Exam parchments. Professor Rose heard a lot of oooohs and aaahs as the students looked at their parchments. Rose turned to face the class and smiled, "I was impressed with all of the excellent marks on your Exam parchments which included some material from your previous Professor. You all did well and I am proud of how everyone is doing in this class". She looked around at all of the smiling faces watching her with full attention. "Now if you'll put away your Exams and get out your notes, we will start on the next rune", Rose smiled as she turned toward the board. As she did so, she noticed a hand go up in the front row. Rose turned toward the class and nodded toward the student, "Yes?" "I have a question, Professor", the Gryffindor girl asked, "In our Exam there was a question about an AEtt. When will be be learning about that?" Rose smiled, "We will be learning about the Aett in a future lesson, Laura, after we have finished going through all of the runes. It will be lesson number twenty-six". Rose turned to the class and noticed many of the students nodded eagerly. Rose turned back toward the board, "Let's talk about our next rune, shall we?" A rune appeared on the board: ![]() "This rune is called Ingwaz", Rose explained, "Can anyone tell me anything about this rune?" Rose looked around the classroom as a few hands shot up. She pointed to a young Hufflepuff. "It cannot be reversed and the letters it stands for are NG", the Hufflepuff smiled proudly. "That is correct, Jane. Five points to Hufflepuff", Professor Rose smiled, "Can anyone tell me what this rune means? Nancy?" Rose asked as she looked sternly at the young Slytherin who was chatting with her friend. Nancy quickly turned and looked nervously at the professor, "Um.." She paused as she glanced at the rune on the board, then looked at her textbook. "Does it mean stability and responsibility?", she asked. "Yes, Nancy", Rose smiled, "That is correct. Five points to Slytherin. The rune Ingwaz does mean stability and responsibility. It also means inner growth and beginnings." "That is all for today. Be sure to do your and to bring it to the next class", Professor Rose smiled as homework parchments appeared on the students' desks, "Class dismissed".
