![]() The class entered the room and quickly settled in their seats as Professor Rose handed out their Quiz papers. As she finished handing out the Quizzes, she smiled and said, "You all did very well on your Quizzes. A couple of you made a couple of mistakes and I'd like those people to review their answers with their textbook. Very well done. I am proud of you. Now if you will all open your textbooks and we will learn about our next rune." The professor glanced toward the group of Slytherin s giggling at the back of the classroom. "I hope I hear quiet from the back of the room for the rest of this lesson", the Professor warned, "Or I will be issuing more detentions for you". Professor Rose turned toward the board as a rune appeared. ![]() "Can anyone tell me which rune this is?", the Professor asked. Several students eagerly raised their hands. Professor Rose smiled at the eager look of Laura Lou, then turned to someone who had not been called on in class yet, "Yes, The Strals?" The student looked around shyly, then replied, "Is it the Nauthiz rune?" "That is correct, The Strals!", Professor Rose smiled, "Five points to Hufflepuff!" "Can anyone tell me more about this rune?", the Professor asked the class. Some students' hands went up while others read through their textbooks as they searched for the answer. "Soli?", Rose asked as she pointed to the young Gryffindor. "Well, it means strength through adversity, determination. Fate driving force. Overcoming negativity. It represents the letter N", Soli replied. "That is correct, Soli", Rose smiled, "Five points to Gryffindor." Professor Rose turned to call on a student who had not raised their hand. "Rasslin', can this rune be reversed?", she asked the young Hufflepuff. "No, it can't", Rasslin replied. "That's right!", Rose smiled, "Five points to Hufflepuff". "That concludes our lesson for today", Professor Rose announced to the class, "Here is your homework which is due two weeks from today. Class dismissed."
