Will Young is to star in his own one-hour TV special for ITV1.
Four of his fellow Pop Idol contestants, including Gareth Gates and Darius Danesh, will be making an appearance. Ant and Dec will introduce the show on February 23. It will also feature a surprise performance by one of the early auditioners. This is rumoured to be Caroline Buckley, who reduced the panel to sniggers with her rendition of YMCA.
ITV2 are planning to screen an in-depth interview with Will on the same night. Will releases his debut double A-side single two days later.
