Chapter 13
Ritchie opened the door of the girls house and was surprised by the music that was coming his way. He walked to Angela�s bedroom and noticed that it was locked. He called her name and knocked without getting a reply. He kept knocking until he heard the music turning down.
� What?�
He was hurt by the sad voice of Angela.
� It�s me, Ritchie�I want to talk to you�
� Well, that�s a little bit late, isn�t it?�
� I know that and I�m sorry, but I won�t leave before I�ve talked to you�
� You can talk, but it won�t say that I�ll listen�
� Angela, please, open the door so I can see you face�
� You�re really not going to leave before I�ve opened the door, aren�t you?�
� Yes, so it would be a lot easier if you just opened the door�
Ritchie heard a soft click and the sound of Angela walking.
� The door is open, you can come in�
Ritchie opened the door and saw Angela sitting on her bed.
� Angela� I just wanted to say sorry for the way I acted earlier, it was wrong to act like that�but you know�I was surprised and hurt�hurt about hiding it for me�
Angela looked for the first time he had entered the room up and the pain he saw in her eyes was too much for him.
� Angela, just know that I don�t care for your past�you told me you have changed and I believe you�
There was a small sign of hope on Angela�s face.
� You believe me?�
Angela looked unbelievable to Ritchie.
� Yeah, I believe you�
� And you�re not angry at me for what I did?�
� No, I didn�t even know you at the time you did that, so don�t look so hurt, dry your tears and give me a hug�
Angela smiled for the first time that evening that Ritchie had seen her. She gave Ritchie a big hug and was surprised how much she needed that hug. She felt Ritchie�s lips in her neck and thought about how lucky she was to be Ritchie�s girlfriend.
She kissed him on the lips and their tongs were twisted a moment later. They took a moment to get their breaths back when Angela realized something.
� You know Ritchie, I think I love you�
Ritchie looked to her surprised, but had one of the biggest smiles on his face she had ever seen.
� I think I love you too�
