Chapter 10
Two days later
Scott hurried to go to the next classroom.
He would finally have a class without Ritchie, Ritchie was following him everywhere and couldn�t leave him alone for a minute and it irritated Scott very much. Scott wasn�t feeling to talk to Ritchie or Angela.
He hadn�t seen Angela for the past few days so it was easy to ignore her, but Ritchie was another story, he was much harder to ignore, because Ritchie was in almost all the classes Scott was in.
He knew that it looked towards Ritchie and Angela like he hated them, but that wasn�t true, not at all. He was happy for them, but he needed some time alone so he could think about this and to get over Angela.
He was glad that his friends respected this. He didn�t see them as much as before anymore, but that was because Angela and Ritchie hang out with them a lot.
He spoke to everyone except for Ritchie and Angela yesterday and explained why he didn�t saw them as much as before anymore. They reacted good on it and wanted to help him. He smiled on the thought of that. He was so lucky with friends like that! Especially Malou was great to him, but he knew the reason of that. She had a crush on him, but he didn�t see her in another way then as a friend. Not now anyways�not with Angela in his head, but maybe there would be a time that he could see Malou in the same way as she saw him.
Scott continued walking to the canteen when he suddenly was pushed in a room� He was surprised and didn�t think about getting away� until he heard the door being locked.
He looked to the other person in the room and he didn�t know what to say when he saw who it was.
� I want to talk with you�
Ritchie was blocking the way so there was no way he could get out of here.
� I don�t want to talk to you so let me go please�
� No way, you�re staying here and I don�t care if you want to talk to me or not, but I�m going to talk to you and you�re going to listen!�
Scott saw that he hadn�t a choice and looked to Ritchie to make sure that Ritchie could see that he didn�t want to be here.
� Scott, I know that you�re mad at me for dating Angela and I understand you, I would be mad at you to if you would date Angela, but can�t you understand? You�re my friend! Look� there is nothing that could have stopped Angela and me for falling in love at each other, not even you could have stopped us� please, can�t you understand that? I don�t want to lose you as a friend, neither wants Angela�
� Look Ritchie, don�t take this the wrong way, but things will never be the same again, things have changed and I can�t look to you and Angela the same way as I did before. That doesn�t mean that we aren�t friends anymore, but we just have to cool down or friendship for a bit, I hope you�ll understand�
� You don�t know how glad I�m to hear this! I thought that you never wanted to speak to me or Angela again��
� No, I would never do that, you�re my friends!�
The two boys stared for a while to each other without saying anything when Scott began to smile.
� What?�
� Ritchie� do you realize that we�re wasting our break right now? We could be eating now!�
� Well, what are we waiting for? Come on!�
They leaved the room and walked towards J, Sean and Abs, who were already eating.
They stopped eating when they saw Ritchie and Scott entering the room and looked surprised.
� Are you friends again?�
Abs looked hopefully to the boys, it wasn�t easy for him and the others that their friends had a fight.
� Yeah, we are�
Ritchie and Scott looked to each other and smiled.
� You so were winking at him!�
The boys turned around when they heard the voice.
� I was not, I was only looking at him!�
� Please Helena, don�t try to deny it, it was so obvious!�
Kristen, Helena and Sophie were arguing with each other, while Laura and Malou just talked about something serious and Angela walked behind them, deep in thought.
They stopped before the boys, but Angela didn�t notice that and bumped into the others.
� Autch!�
� Angela, please look where you�re going next time�
� Sorry�
The others sat down. But Angela looked surprised to Scott, she didn�t expect him to be here.
� Angela� are you going to sit?�
J smiled at Angela�s reaction and continued watching her moves.
� Yeah�
She walked to Ritchie and sat down besides him.
He gave her a soft kiss on the cheek and joined the conversation again. Angela listened quietly, not saying anything.
Ten minutes later she still hadn�t spoken and Sophie looked worried to her.
� Angela?�
� Yeah?�
� Can you come with me? You promised me that you would help me with economics�
� All right�
Sophie and Angela left to search for a place more private.
� You don�t need me to help you with your economics right?�
� No, but I�m worried about you, I never saw you as quiet as you were now�
� You better stop worrying about me then, it�s nothing serious�
� Are you sure?�
� Yeah, it�s just� I have a lot of things on my mind and that�s the reason why I�m so quiet, but it�s nothing to worry about�
� If you say so� do you want to go back to the others?�
They began to laugh when the bell rang and walked to their classroom.
