Unsportsmanlike conduct by any contestant or their guest will result in disqualification. No refund will be given.
All contestants ages 0-3 may be escorted on stage by 1 parent or adult.
Judging:
Contestants will be judged on facial beauty (1-20), dress/costume (1-10), personality/poise (1-10) and overall appeal (1-10)
Photos and Deposits:
All photos submitted must include contestants full name and age.
A wallet size photo must be submitted by February 10th for the program book. Photos received after this date will not appear in the book. Judges will use these programs to refer back to contestants when necessary.
Contestants entering the cover contest must submit an additional photo. The photo can be a head shot or full body picture. Snapshots are accepted. No touch-up or glamour pictures accepted.Please mark cover on the back of the photo.
Photogenic contest photos can be submitted at registration. These photos can be snapshots or studio pictures. Pictures can be no smaller than 3x5 and no larger than 8 1/2 x 11. No touch-up or glamour pictures accepted.
$50.00 late fee will be charged for any contestant that did not send $150 depostit prior to February 10th. No entries will be accepted after March 1st. Registration fees cannot be applied toward deposit. $150 deposit can be applied to any packages, please state how you would like it to be applied.
Deposits are not refundable. If you cannot attend for any reason you must notify us at least 48 hours before the pageant and you will receive credit to your next Illinois Phenomenal Faces pageant. No exceptions!
Deposits can be paid by personal check, cash, money order or paypal only. Money and entry must be received by March 1st!
Pageant Attire:
Clothing must be off the rack. Girl�s may wear flower girl dress, prom dresses, or Sunday best. Boys should wear Sunday best. Contestants will not be judged on the clothing but how it looks on them.
Hollywood Theme: Dress like your favorite person from Hollywood, actor/actress, director, character etc... Get out your feather boas and dress like it's opening night. Make-up and props acceptable.
All contestants must wear official pageant t-shirt and khaki bottoms for crowning.
Make-up:
0-3 No make-up, 4-13 light make-up (mascara, lip gloss and light blush), 14-19 full day time make-up.
Reminder: This is a natural pageant, no fake hair, teeth or tans.
Door Badges:
Everyone must have a door badge except contestants. Door badges must be worn at all times.
Winning Free Entry and State Ambassador:
Sell 5 ad pages at $100 each and supreme fees are paid. Pages can be split 1/4 ($25), 1/2 ($50), or full page($100) These pages can also be used as good luck pages have friends and family donate $10 each for a good luck message (10 messages per page). Contestant's picture can also be on the good luck pages. Obtain a business card or information from each advertiser and copy it for your ad page. The contestant who sells the most ad pages will be named our official State Ambassador. Contestant must sell at least 8 full ad pages in order to be eligible.
