Beauty:
Each contestant will be judged individually during their 1 minute 30 seconds on stage. Contestant will be judged on Facial Beauty (1-20), Dress (1-10), Personality/Poise (1-10), and Overall Appeal (1-10). Dress will not be judged by cost of dress but by the way it fits and looks while on you. Dresses should be Sunday best Flowergirl or Bridesmaid dresses. No high glitz or pageant dresses!!. Boys should also wear Sunday best. Contestants 0-23 months may have a parent on stage with them. No fake hair or teeth. Girls ages 0-3 no make-up. Girls 4-13 light make-up only: lip gloss, light blush, light mascara. Girls ages 14-19 can wear normal day make-up. Remember this is a natural pageant.
Optional (Theme) Outfit:
Eash contestant will be judged individually during their 1 minute 30 seconds on stage.. Contestant will be judged on Facial Beauty (1-20), Outfit or Costume (1-10), Personality/Poise (1-10) and Overall Appeal (1-10). These outfits can be homemade or bought off the rack. Be creative and have fun!
Photogenic:
Each photo will be judged individually. Photos will be judged on Facial Beauty(1-20), Personality (1-10) and Overall Appeal (1-10). Photos can be no smaller than 3x5 and no larger than 8 1/2 x 11. Snapshots or studio pictures welcome. No retouched pictures will be considered.
Best Awards:
Each contestant will be judged during beauty line-up to determine the best awards The best awards include: Prettiest Smile, Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Eyes and Best Personality for theme. Plaques will be awarded to the winner in each best category.
Please note, the categories will vary between preliminaries. Check each entry form for categories being judged at the pageant you wish to attend.
Preliminary Crowning Information
One Supreme winner will be selected. This person can come from any age division and will be the contestant with the overall highest total when combining beauty and optional (theme) category. The winner will receive a 10 inch crown, sash, gift bag and money if the pageant hosted over 13 contestants.
A Mini-Supreme will be awarded to two contestants. One contestant in the 0-7 age division and one contestant in the 8-19 age division. This person has the next highest score combining beauty and optional (theme) category in their age division to the Supreme winner. The winner will receive an 8 inch crown, sash, gift bag and money if the pageant hosted over 13 contestants.
Each age division will have one queen, a 1st runner up and 2nd runner up awarded based on their beauty scores only! Contestants will not be judged on modeling but this is a good opportunity for them to practice.
The queen will receive a 7 inch crown, sash, and gift bag.
The 1st and 2nd runners up will receive a trophy and gift bag.
The $100 entry fee to state will be paid for all queens, 1st and 2nd runners up, and best award winners.
As always, all judges decisions are final. Bad sportsmanship will not be tolerated. Please, take the time to applaud and encourage all contestants. Even though this is a competition, we are here to have a good time!
