The FAFPST ran during the first two weeks of October 2003, as a response to a news article about Fred Phelps lobbying to create a "memorial" commemorating the day Matthew Shepard "entered Hell." The members of the tourney were outraged by this news, but chose to make love, not war, and respond in a creative and satrical manner rather than answer hate with hate. The tourney was organized and judged by Wolfychan, and the stories were originally posted on uJournal. "FAFPST" is pronounced "fap-fest."
RULES OF THE FAFPST:
1. The story must involve Fred Phelps and one or more men (characters from any fandom, real people, or Marty Stus) having sex. With each other.
2. The story must use the word ""cock" as the primary term for "penis." Other body parts can be euphemised or not as the author sees fit, but I strongly feel that only "cock" carries the proper dramatic weight for this situation.
3. Fred Phelps must be the uke (i.e., bottom, "girl," catcher, bitch).
