I moved back to campus on Sunday, September 4th. Mom and Dad helped load things into my new on-campus apartment and stuck around for a while. Dad helped move furniture around and raise our beds up so that we could store more stuff underneath them. I am living with Rebecca, who is a friend from Rapids, Amy- a friend of Rebecca's- and not the same Amy I lived with last year, and Beth, a friend I met here in GB last year. We have a living room now, a very small kitchen (it's only about six feet in length!), two bedrooms, and a bathroom. The bedrooms are bigger than the dorm rooms were, so it's a little more spacious than dorm life. Unfortunately, my third floor group is all spread out now. We live all over campus, so it makes it harder to spend time together.
A big group of us went to see a comedian on the 6th. About 13 of us went into the Phoenix rooms together- we took up an entire row! The comedian's name was Michael Dean Ester- and he was probably the best comedian I've seen at Green Bay so far. I really enjoyed his show and laughed a lot. It was one of the only shows where I wanted the show to keep going on.
On Monday night, Kyle and I went to a concert that was being held on campus. There was a stage set up outside the union and the event drew in the most people I've ever seen at something on campus. The opening band was called Epic Hero. I had never heard of them, but I ended up liking their music. The main band was Ingram Hill. They had a song out on the radio that I had heard before called "Almost Perfect," but other than that, I didn't really know anything about them. The lead singer had cute hair and a slight southern accent- so I enjoyed that! Their music is pretty good- I like how they incorporated piano into some of the songs.
