| On a particularly beautiful day, Becca, Beth, and I decided to go play tennis. We got all sporty and walked over to the tennis courts, only to discover that they were still covered in a foot of snow and had no nets yet! So, sadly, we had to turn around! We decided that since we were all dressed in our sporty gear, we had to actually do something, so we took a walk on the trail down to the bay. We hung out there for a bit, played in the snow, then walked back to campus. It was a gorgeous day for a walk. |
| Before Spring Break, I treated some of my friends to bowling with my $46 gift card that I had won. The group was made up of Becca, Amy, Beth, her boyfriend Carl, Eduardo, and me. Eduardo is my new foreign exchange student friend that I met during my one day of on-campus work! I got paid $7 an hour (and I worked for 4 hours) to pass out information at a booth about the Spring Job Fair. It just so happened that I had to work with a really cute and incredibly sweet guy--my life is rough, eh?! So I invited him to come with us--it was a wonderful evening! |
| Spring Break was March 18th to the 26th. One evening, I went to a master ballet class given by the Minnesota Ballet at the PAC---Robyn made me go! Lets just say that it didn't make me feel very good about my dancing! The instructor listed off all these French terms, but I didn't know what any of them were! It was quite an experience. Over break, I also went to a big curling family party that dad put together. Rebecca came with, so it was fun. Al tried to talk her and I into going on a camping/canoeing trip with the guys! Becca and I went to see "She's the Man" at the theater-- embarressingly enough-- we both really liked it! Mom and I went and saw "Failure to Launch"- which was also a cute movie. I did some shopping-- got some cute "teacher clothes" for my education class. I also went out and did some summer job searching. On Monday when I got back from break, I had a 12:00 phone interview with girl scout camp people, and around 1:30 they called back and told me I had the job! It was incredibly exciting!-- my first summer job ever! |
