December 2005
Thursday December 1st:  Amy, Chad, Justin, Megan, Beth, Julie, Matt, and I all went bowling.  The alley was having a special holiday promotion, so there were some give-aways and deals throughout the night.  Megan and I both got our names drawn to go into this blow up thing with blue paper money blowing around--we had to try to collect as much of it as we could in 20 seconds.  It was a lot harder than you would think!  Oddly enough, we both got the same amount of money-- $46.00--$1 off the record--which, by the way, was not actual cash- it goes on a bowling alley gift card!  So I guess bowling will be my treat some evening!  We bowled five games- my worst game was 101 and my best was 124 (or something like that!).

Rebecca and I baked Christmas cookies and frosted them one weekend--- it made a lot of dirty dishes, so we didn't like that part of it!  Before frosting the cookies, we went to a movie with some friends at the Budget Theater.  Later in the week, I went to another movie at the budget.  Matt (who's next to me in the bowling picture above) and I went on a double date with my friend Amanda and her boyfriend Andrew and saw Wedding Crashers (I loooove Owen Wilson!).
December 13th was the Raider Classic dance competition at Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids.  We did a jazz/funk piece to "Toxic."  We tied for 3rd place-- which was quite disappointing to us, but we had never performed the routine anywhere before (like at a basketball game) and I think that kind of hurt us.  I had to do a ton of turns in this routine-- a double, 8 foutees, a triple, a double, and a calypso-- so it was a pretty challenging routine!

I went on another date the day after competition-- and with a different guy than the last date!  We got dressed up and went to dinner at Victorias-- a nice Italian restaurant.  We had good food and then fabulous cheesecake!  So it was a fun evening-- and I was very excited to have two dates with two different guys in the same week!
Finals went well-- I didn't even end up having to take my math final because I already had an A in the class, so the professor made it optional!  So I ended the semester with an A, two A/B's, and two B's.

I went home for winter break-- about 3 weeks to waste!  We went to Rochester, Geneva, and Mankato.
