You are invited to join in the fun of making your child a better reader and successful student. Our class is participating in the Book-It! Reading Incentive Program this year and we are excited about it. Sponsored by Pizza Hut, the program motivates reading through pizza, praise, and recognition. Here is how it works:
~ I will set a monthly reading goal for your child each month beginning with
October
~ Return the goal recording sheet at the end of each month and I will present
your child with a pizza award certificate good for a free, one-topping
Personal Pan Pizza from Pizza Hut.
~ On your first visit to Pizza Hut your child will also receive a Book-It! Card with a backpack clip and a sticker for the card. Additional stickers will be
awarded on each subsequent Book-It! visit.
~ If your child meets the reading goals all six months of the program, he or she
will become a Book-It! All-Star Reader and will be awarded a All-Star
medallion at Pizza Hut.
