You're in my dreams--day and at night You're with me all the time. wherever I go I see you when I wake in the morning, I can see you beside me holding on when I get to the office you're everywhere in meetings, you're there. as I work, you're there. You fill my thoughts you're everywhere. When I climb into bed, I see you I feel your heart beat close to mine I look around and you're everywhere you're in my thoughts you're in my dreams you're in my days and in my nights you're in my heart and on my mind. you're everywhere. everywhere but here. (September 04) ------------------------------------------------------- Watching cars go round and round oh, the things I do watching silly race cars drive just to feel closer to you In the beginning it was just a feeling a twinkle in my eye But time has made it stronger and only God knows why. I dream of when I'll hug you and when you're holding me. I dream of gentle kisses and I wish that we could be... together today if there was a way to come home to stay for a roll in the hay day after day I would say "I'm so happy!" but I am anyway... because I love you. (August 04) ------------------------------------------------------- I'm going to the beach in a day! I should be happy to get away. Instead, I sort of wish I could stay so I could still see you every Friday and talk on the phone to hear you say "hey Shannon" (aww!) "how was your day?" I'd rather take phone bills that I have to pay and live with a Freak who is totally gay and go to a hearing where they just may send you to prison and make you stay than to be far away for even a day from the guy I love (that's you, by the way.) (July 04) ------------------------------------------------------- If you ever tried to kiss me I'd never push you down and if you could plant one on me I'd never wear a frown But we can't kiss through bars or glass, it seems So we'll have to resort to just kissing in dreams. He says: You're an angel sent from Heaven above Sent for someone like me to love Your eyes are green and mine are too And I think I'm falling in love with you. (aww!) My reply: One year, two years, five, whatever I think I'll probably wait forever Without you my green eyes would be blue 'cuz I think I'm falling in love with you, too. (June 04) ------------------------------------------------------- There are lots of things between us. Can you name a few? I can think of lots of things that separate me from you. First of all there's space. Ten miles north to see your face And then of course the phone line that runs from your ear down to mine Can't forget the walls of stone that keep you far away from home And there's that stupid plate of glass that keeps me from grabbing your... butt All these things between us suck and you know, it's just my luck But there's something else between us we can't blame on the state It comes from our hearts and our God above and gee, I think it's great! (June 04) ------------------------------------------------------- If I could be invisible I'd sneak into your cell No COs would see me and no inmates would tell. I'd slip into your blankies and wait for lock-down hour then when you jumped into your bed I'd undo my invisible power I'd get to see what it's like for you each day inside the walls I want to spend a day with you (although, I'd miss the malls!) We'd lie there and talk and it would be free! All through the night, just you and me We'd lie in bed and watch the fights until the turned off all the lights How I'd love to get in there as long as they don't make me wear... orange. (June 04) ------------------------------------------------------- Twice a week and without fail I get a call from the county jail. "Do you accept this call?" she'll say I push 55 -- yes, I'll pay It makes me smile to hear your voice. To hear it more would be my choice I think God planned it all this way I'm so glad I met you are you sure you're not gay? (June 04) ------------------------------------------------------- I have a pillow. You do not. I sleep in a bed. You sleep on a cot. My towels are cushy. Yours are thin. I don't like dominoes. You always win. I don't like smoking. You think it's cool. I went to college. You skipped school. I'm free to run. You're behind bars. I like the law. You steal cars. I don't watch races. You love TV. We're as different as different can be. Someone said that opposites attract I don't know if I agree with that. I don't know why but I like you a lot I wish you'd get out (and I think you're hot) (April 04) ------------------------------------------------------- I made a friend at church one night he was quite a lovely sight i liked it when he smiled at me but a convict, he turned out to be now I cry each night alone for my orange-clad friend to come back home.
