It had awakened! Then, it had to mean it had been asleep before?
Was it hungry now? Gonna get her? What was the purpose of her being here?
Who wanted to find out - she wanted to get out! She panicked, sprang up on her feet and just by now,in that moment, there was a snarl all around her, the uproar was immense as "they" realized Chibi was about to flee. CHibi was having sudden hardships to maintain her stance, as the thing under her was wobbling now like an Bubbleplast playground to whomever stood upon it.
Chibi saw the walls right before her but she was rather doing hell than to walk there, turning into the opposite direction and beginning to run. She did the right thing without to even be conscious about it, as the ground where she had awoken had been hard, meaning there was more than this creature here, but she was not able to think about things like that and just ran, away from the glistening threat. Panic let sweat shoot out of her pores. Greed in the eyeless audience around her woke yet more tentacles for the smell of her sweat. Chibi didn*t understand the cause and just realized more and more glistening, to the side, to the front, it was everywhere now, and she turned a 90 degrees and tried to find out of this hell.
Her heart bursted, and her eyes pressed themself shut for a moment to try to think this all was a nightmare to awake from, soon. Her eye lids had "cut" yet another load of tears to fall down!
The thirst and hunger all around was now out of control! There were like 40 tentacles in her around her, and she tried to not think about they might be pursuing her from behind. A terrorful imagination.
"Run, run through it!" she just thought, "The are everywhere, just keep on running!" And she did. Although not any far anymore. Yet after a few more steps, her escape attempt ended abruptly. Numerous tortuos bulges that ran swelling across the ground from everywhere all ended here in a tumour or egg that slowly emerged more and more from the ground - and she had not seen it and dropped to the ground by the impact.
The creature must*ve felt pain in that moment as the world around CHibimoon rotated and shook like an earthquake, so she could not even stand up anymore but fell yet another time during the attempt. As the quake faded in this moment,
the second attempt, immediate after the bailed first, may have been successful. Her hands were on the ground and she was just about to stand up but instinctively looked up as something approached. The headlike knot she had fell over had opened alien egg alike a multi petal shape hole right it*s broad pore top. Cobweb style slime crackled apart as it fully stretched open, and something eventually emerged. Chibi heard a sound and turned the head, just to see a tentacle rushed towards her with incredible speed, within a second, out of nothingness directly into her face,stopping there! CHibi yelled out by instinct
and in a total fear. All over sudden she had to hold her hands to her ears not to become deaf! In a place where the own heavy breath was already echoing, a deep cry was truely reverberating the in thousands of reflections. The entire place began to quake, CHibi`s stand broke down and she held her arms over he head in an attempt to protect her auditory canals, in fear that her head may explode. For like 10 long seconds, the noise was like a death row.
Then in the first moment of echoes fading, the egg before her opened - alongside with a green-white light bearing haze coming from somewhere at the ceiling, emanating inside the room giving it light.
THe egg had fully opened and something definatly had emerged. A young tentacle. Yet rather dark violet or blue than black, covered with streams of mother slime. ChibiUsa took yet 20 more seconds until she knew that the horrible sound really was over, then, tried to raise her head.
She would*ve immediately try to run again if not she had been out of speech now by, what she saw. By how the place had changed it*s look.
THe entire place was a giant cave, a ring shape mould was near the center, looking like stone. THatmust*ve been where she had awoken. It was all visible now. Dark greenish mist, fluorescenting, gave the wet ground in the centre it*s light. Stalactites arched from the ceiling everywhere, the cave was higher than two houses, and all around the centre, mostly at the walls, black, wet creatures sticked out, moving tentacles and oval heads that had only openings but no jaws.
Chibi however, who was totally stun, had only eyes for the centre of the cave. The ringmould was all around a vast mega egg.
Not to be called an obelisk. This oval, reaching into the height of the slightly domed cave, was still emerging but somehow, ChibiUsa knew what would happen. She just knew it.
THe egg raised yet higher, in slow motion. A loud crackle was audible when it had fully stretched into height, the ground vibrated for a second. The egg was completely dry, it seemed, it was all black, only the green fog from a bit over the ground made the side of the vast thing green. It looked like a giant flower about to open it*s head. The top was not visible for Chibiusa, who kneeled far away from it, it was just too high. That top smoked, or steamed, or maybe something was vapouring within, it had to be hot inside.
Chibi was not able to move any limb. She unconsciously even held to the alien egg that she had stumbled over! THe young tentacle that looked out of it still rested in it*s birth slime. It had turned it*s attention over to the master egg, too. |
